Many people on the right and on the left care deeply for their country. Others are simply blowhards whose sole goal seems to be to muddy the waters of societal harmony. As Democrats and Republicans strive to work for a better America, albeit with competing and sometimes opposite visions of how to bring this about, people like MSNBC's Olbermann do a disservice to our nation and sharpen the divide among well meaning people with different views. This blog is an effort to oppose his antics.

Thank you for standing up against this non-patriot. I wonder if he's ever served in the armed forces? I doubt it. If he did I'm sure he got his butt kicked daley for being such a tool.
Non-patriot? Are you kidding? You don't have to serve in the military to be patriotic. Wanting to preserve the rights afforded us in our Constitution is patriotic. Olbermann is not perfect, of course, but speaking out against a tyrannical government (i.e. the Bush/Cheney administration) is the very meaning of patriotic.
And it's "daily", not "daley". Shakespeare.
Jers - You're 100% right
Liz R.,
Please enlighten us. How is trashing former army officers for refusing to meet with al-Jazeera the same as "not serving in the military?" That's what Jers was criticizing, and then added that of course Olbermann never showed the same devotion to his country that his nominee for "Worst Person in the World....." did. And while you're at it Liz, please just stop posting obscene and defamatory comments on the blog as you did on the other post.
